Cindy Feldman
Founder and Owner Cindy Feldman is compelled to serve others, the salon, with the team, and in the community. Her commitment to service creates a unique experience for every client. Her vision for educational empowerment inspires her team. Her loyalty to the community drives her charitable endeavors. Since opening Progressions in 1984, Cindy has nurtured its evolution into a world-class salon, spa, and store dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction.
Stylists
Sung HeinrichsHaircutting, color, hair extensions, Hair Smoothing Treatment
In addition to her work as a full-time hairdresser, Sung has also been involved with the Progressions education department, training apprentices and has served as a network educator for Bumble and bumble. She is a graduate of Graham Webb and has completed additional training with Oscar Bond, Aveda, and Intercoiffure as well as advanced training from Aveda, Toni & Guy, Goldwell USA, Ruth Roche, Vivian McKinder, Redken, Martin Parsons, is certified by Extend USA for hair extensions, and worked as an editorial stylist for Orlando Pita and Noah Hatton. Sung offers exceptional services always!
Cele KhuenHaircutting, color, perms, formal styling
One of our original team members, Cele has been an integral part of Progressions since we opened in 1984 — which is most of her extensive career in hair design. In addition to her work as a stylist, she also serves as Human Resources director of the salon. Cele has traveled as far as Berlin for hair shows, to New York, Chicago, Miami, Tampa, and Las Vegas. She has taken classes with Paul Mitchell, Toni & Guy, Oribe, Vivian McKinder, Oscar Bond, Bumble and bumble, and Trevor Sorbie. She is truly a rare and special talent.
Barbara RoybalHaircutting, color, Hair Smoothing Treatment, relaxers, formal styling, makeup, brow, lip and chin waxing, lash & brow tinting
Barbara has been with Progressions since 1984 and is fluent in styling, color, formal styling and makeup. She has also broadened her skill level and offers hair extensions. With so many years in hair design, she has an impressive resume of advanced training. Barbara holds a bachelor’s degree in mental health and psychology and is a journeyman in the I.A.T.S.E. Jennifer YavenerHaircutting and design, color, formal styling, anti-curl relaxer
With us since 1993, Jennifer had six previous years of hair styling when she joined us. She graduated from the Chateau School of Cosmetology and has since continued her training at Tigi, Bumble and bumble, Redken, Aveda, Intercoiffure in Florida and Hair Color U.S.A in Las Vegas, among many others. Jennifer is a pleasure to work with.
Silvia PlateroHaircutting, color, relaxers, formal styling, Hair Smoothing Treatment
A graduate of Graham Webb, Silvia has been with us since 1994. She has trained with Bumble and bumble, Tigi, Aveda, Redken, Goldwell in Toronto, Oscar Bond, Roy Peters, Vivian McKinder, Jamison Shaw, and Vidal Sassoon. She is a client favorite who does some of the most beautiful updos for any occasion.
Alice HokHaircutting. color, formal styling, hair extensions, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Alice has been part of the Progressions team since 2003. A graduate of the American Academy, she is certified and trained in hair extensions by Extend USA. She has also trained with Bumble and bumble, Redken, Goldwell, Oscar Bond, Lanza, Vivian McKinder, Orlando Pita, Vidal Sassoon, Toni & Guy, KMS, Aquage, Smashbox, has taken advanced classes at Graham Webb, and worked with Oribe at a backstage show. If you can visual it, Alice can create it.
Kevin GlassHaircutting and design, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Kevin, a native of California, began his education at Toni & Guy in Los Angeles. Growing and developing his natural talent for precision cutting, Kevin quickly worked his way up to senior educator at Toni & Guy Academy. Kevin is always looking to pursue new challenges which is why he has joined Progressions Team. Kevin's passion for teaching will allow him to further develop our education department. Kevin is excited to bring his advanced training to Progressions Salon!
Karla SweeneyHaircutting
Karla joined Progressions in 1993. She specializes in haircutting and has had extensive training in Vidal Sassoon -London, Santa Monica and Miami. Toni & Guy -London, New York and Dallas. Bumble and bumble -New York. She has also trained with Nick Arrojo, Oscar Bond, Vivienne McKinder, and Ruth Roche. Karla worked with us full time up until 2009 and currently lives in New York working with us three days a month. We're lucky to have her as part of our team.
Sandra PalaciosHaircutting and design, color, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Sandra is a graduate of the Edison Center for Cosmetology and not only won first place for haircutting there in 1998, but also was named the Hair Dresser of the Year for the Montgomery County School System the same year. In the past years she has also trained with Bumble and bumble, Aveda, Oscar Bond, Vivian McKinder, Ruth Roche, Goldwell, Lanza, Martin Parsons, Redken and many more. Sandra is a true talent.
Pam HenryEthnic haircutting, relaxing and styling, Hair Smoothing Treatment, all other aspects of cutting and hair design
Pam worked for Michael Christopher Hair Design in Wilmington, Delaware, for ten years before moving to Maryland in 2004. She has trained with Goldwell, Redken Color, Oribe, and Lanza. Pam is a brilliant specialist.
Ashleigh GottliebHaircutting and design, color, formal styling, Hair Smoothing Treatment
From Washington D.C. to Los Angeles, Ashleigh has traveled coast to coast for continuous education. She has received valuable training from Toni & Guy, one of the industry's leaders. Her passion and love for the industry has contributed to her growth and development, specializing in precision cuts and advanced chemical theory. Ashleigh is using all this knowledge to help us advance our education department. In addition to Toni & Guy, Ashleigh has received training with Bumble and bumble, Oscar Bond, Vivian McKinder and John Sahag. Ashleigh has recently returned to the east coast from California and is ready to give D.C. a new look!
Vanessa ShiblieHaircutting and design, anti-curl relaxers, perms, Hair Smoothing Treatment, and color
A graduate of the Edison Center for Cosmetology, Vanessa has also studied at Tigi in Dallas, Bumble and bumble, Oscar Bond, Vivian McKinder, Roy Peters, Redken, Goldwell Color, Lanza, and Aveda. No wonder she’s been with us since 1985! We're lucky to have her as a team member.

A 1999 graduate of Aspen Beauty Academy, Ligia has trained just about everywhere, including Tigi, Bumble and bumble, Aveda, Oscar Bond, Roy Peters, Vivian McKinder, John Sahag, and many Goldwell seminars. She is indeed talented!
Trinh VuongHaircutting, styling, color, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Trinh graduated from the American Beauty Academy, apprenticed with Ira Ludwick since 2003 and has trained with Goldwell, Redken, Graham Webb, Bumble and bumble, Oscar Bond, Roy Peter, Vidal Sassoon, Jamison Shaw, KMS California, Lanza, and Aquage. She is one amazing stylist.
Trish RudnickHaircutting and design, color, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Trish is highly trained with an extensive background, having been in the business since 1990. She started her training at the Vidal Sassoon Cosmetology School in a 10 month course in Santa Monica, California. She attended numerous advanced Vidal Sassoon classes and completed her apprenticeship under Ira Ludwick. Additionally, Trish has studied under Oscar Bond in New York, Bumble and bumble, and Tigi. She completed a three month basic makeup class at Elegance International Makeup School in Los Angeles, California. Trish also attended an advanced training course at Sebastion Makeup School in San Diego, California. Her specialties include precision cutting and highlights.
Bonnie TaylorHaircutting and formal styling
One of our most experienced hairdressers, Bonnie has been in hair design since the early 1970s. Since joining Progressions in 1997, she has taken in-salon classes with Bumble and bumble and Tigi and trained with Roy Peters, Wella Color, Redken, Goldwell, Wendy and Oscar Bond, Martin Parsons, Vivian McKinder and others.
Kellye PhamHaircutting, design, color, formal styling, bridal services, make-up, waxing, lash & brow tinting, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Kellye is a full service technician and has been with us since 2007. She is a graduate of a Paul Mitchell Partner School and aspires to be a successful and famous Service Provider. She keeps up with the latest techniques in hair and make up trends and enjoys creating individual styles. Kellye often lends her talents for image consulting to charity events. She enjoys traveling to attend classes and has completed classes at KMS California, Goldwell, Lanza, Oscar and Wendy Bond, Oribe, Kerastase, Bumble and bumble, and Smashbox/MAC. She often participates in hair competitions and plans to further her career via runway work, platform work, and photo shoots. Kellye specializes in eyebrows and makeup. She has a true passion for her craft!
Kim MilliganHaircutting, design, Hair Smoothing Treatment, and color
Kim is a graduate of The Salon Professional Academy. She has relocated from Ohio and has been with Progressions since July 2007. Kim is one of our Bumble and bumble Network Educators for our salon. She has a strong desire to further her education in order to gain more knowledge in all technical aspects of the industry. She also aspires to work with models in photo shoots and on the runway. Kim is very ambitious and will absolutely be a great success!
Iris RojasHaircutting, design, color, formal styling, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Iris is a graduate of a Paul Mitchell Partner School and has been with us since October 2007. She has also completed the Goldwell Color Trilogy Certification, Elegant Hair by Giselle and KMS Women's Foundation. Iris plans to continue her education within our in-house Education Program, as well as outside the salon.
Jen SkarzenskiHaircutting and design, color, formal styling, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Jen graduated from Thomas Edison School of Technology's Cosmetology Program in 2007 and has attended educational classes with Goldwell. She is a quick learner and is very ambitious. Jen seeks to continue her education in order to build a loyal client base and a successful career in the Beauty Industry. In her spare time Jen enjoys spending time with her friends and changing her hair color and style frequently to keep her look fresh. She will certainly be a great success!
Navan HokHaircutting, design, Hair Smoothing Treatment, and color
A graduate of a Paul Mitchell Partner School, Navan joined Progressions Team in the summer of 2008. He consistently goes above and beyond and is always willing to accomodate guests, as well as his fellow staff members. Navan provides exceptional service from the consultation to home care recommendations. He has completed advanced education at Aquage, Elegant Hair by Giselle, and Goldwell's Color Trilogy Certification. He is also one of the salon's Bumble and bumble Network Educators. Photography is one of Navan's many talents. His work is on display throughout the salon and spa and is available for sale. One of his future aspirations is to work as a runway and photo shoot artist.
Bianca DavisHaircutting, relaxers, and blow drying
Bianca attends Thomas Edison High School of Technology. She was a state competitor in the Skills USA competition 2010. In our education program and we're lucky to have her supporting our team. Bianca is a very talented and a multifaceted stylist specializing in hair weaving.

Robyn MunsonColor and chemical specialist, Nano keratin treatment
One of the very first to join Progressions, Robyn is a former instructor for Goldwell International and is an American Board Certified Master Colorist as well as an International Board Certified Colorist. She enjoys running marathons.
Leti SorianoColor and chemical specialist, Japanese thermal reconditioning, Hair Smoothing Treatment
From New York to Florida, it’s hard to imagine a training program or study course Leti hasn’t taken while working with us since we opened Progressions. We’re talking Goldwell Ambassador, Beth Minirdi classes, Intercoiffure in New York and Atlanta, Paul Mitchell, Paul Brown, Redken, Manza, Lisco Thermal Recondition, Affirm Relaxer System, and Hair Smoothing Treatments. There’s more, but we’ve run out of room here.
Julia MateuColor and chemical specialist, Hair Smoothing Treatment
Since 2000, when Julia joined Progressions, she has studied cosmetology at the Edison Center and has taken coloring classes at Aveda, Goldwell, Redken, Oscar Bond, Roy Peters, Beth Minardi, Vivian McKinder and Intercoiffure. If you want her to, she can tell you all about it in Spanish as well as English.

Maguilia Yil
Maguilia has been apart of our team since 1992. Prior to that, she studied Cosmotology.
Maria Paloma
Maria has been with us since 1998. Her daughter, Cecilia, works with us in the nail department. Maria is the grandmother to 11 grandchildren, however none of them work with us.... yet!
Arely Platero
Arely has been a part of Progressions since 2004. Her daughter, Silvia works with us as a hair stylist. Arely works very hard to help keep Progressions organized.

Rita BuziloAcrylic nails, shellac, manicure, pedicure, spa manicure and pedicures
Rita is an active nail technician. She is trained in hot stone manicures and pedicures, studied with OPI and Creative Nails, and About Faces. She is also certified in reflexology. Rita has been a part of the Progressions team since 1984.
Cecilia PalomoShellac, manicures, pedicures and spa manicures and pedicures
Cecilia has been with Progressions as long as her mother, Maria, who is a part of our support staff. She attended the Fame Nail Design School and has taken additional classes at Davidson, Creative Nail and has attended shows in New York and Baltimore.
Zsameria RayfordShellac, manicures, pedicures and spa manicures and pedicures
Zsameria graduated from NC A&T SU with a business degree and from Washington, DC's Dudley Beauty School in 2008. Her passion for nurturing and nails started at age seven however, when she started working on her grandmother's nails.

Nancy DanielsSkincare, waxing and body treatments
A graduate of the French Institute in Washington, DC, Nancy has been a licensed esthetician since 2006. She comes to Progressions with an in depth knowledge of all skin care types and conditions. She is trained in a variety of advanced skincare lines including Bioelements, Guinot, and Somme. Nancy is especially skilled in the care of mature skin. She accepts that times marches on, but believes that with the right skincare regiment it doesn't have to show on your face. Nancy is ready to give your skin the defenses it needs to face time with confidence.

As a Progressions staple, Karen has been with Guest Services since 2002. You'll recognize her by her warm smile. She is happily married, has four grown children and a sheltie named Louie.

Linda GottliebInventory Manager
Linda is an avid animal lover and has been with us since the beginning. In addition to her talents in makeup, she is an instrumental part of our management team and currently our inventory manager. Linda's love and passion for the beauty industry comes through in her relationships with the guests. She loves to engage in welcoming conversations with everyone, so please feel free to stop and talk to her anytime.

Melissa CaputoSales & Customer Service Director
Melissa has a broad background in all aspects of Customer Service in a variety of industries. Originally working in the fitness field, Melissa comes to us with a true passion for helping others. She became involved with Progressions as a business consultant and was so impressed with the salon and staff that she relocated from Connecticut to work with us.
Laura VerdiExecutive Support
Although Laura loves to travel, she has spent most of her adult life in Maryland. You're likely to see her around town on her bicycle or motorcycle. Laura's formal education is in nutrition and she permeates good health, self-care, and a positive spirit. She's our voice when you are on hold and has worked with us since 1991.
